Recently, the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC., initiated a project designed to find children (both Jewish and non-Jewish) who survived the Holocaust through photos taken of them after WWII. The Museum asks that should anyone recognize one of the many photos (see http://rememberme.ushmm.org) on its website to contact the Museum. Already a number of individuals have come forward to identify these children. The Museum is eager to complete this project as Holocaust survivors numbers continue to dwindle.
