Armenian Genocide Novel

Chris Bohjalian has written a new WWI novel, The Sandcastle Girls, that was inspired by his Armenian grandparent’s background. It explores the Armenian Genocide of 1915, an event that Turkey continues to deny. The book is reviewed in The Washington Post, July 17, 2012.
